The Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland in Ogun State, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo, has warned herbalists and ritualists to respect human lives in the wake of rising money rituals in the state.
He spoke during an interactive session with journalists at his palace in Abeokuta, as part of activities to mark his 80th birthday.
Oba Gbadebo said he had summoned herbalists within his domain recently and cautioned against demands for human parts for rituals.
The monarch said efforts were in top gear towards curbing the menace of rituals in the state.
