Residents of Ibwa community in Gwagwalada Area Council of the FCT have been left stranded following the collapse of the bridge which connects them with neighbouring Paikon-Kore community.
A resident, Shuaibu Bala, said the bridge collapsed following a heavy rainfall on Monday.
A farmer, Danjuma Shehu, said that since the bridge collapsed residents who had farms on the other side could not access their farms.

An official in the works department of the council said that the Chairman, Alhaji Abubakar Jibrin Giri, had ordered engineers to the site in order to ascertain the damage.
