Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Mr Sogo Musibau Abdulkareem and Mrs Afolabi Victoria expressed gratitude to the organisers of the outreach for the gesture.

Abdulkareem said: “I have an eye challenge. I heard about this free eye treatment outreach and I decided to come for it. The glasses I was using before were no longer okay. I underwent a test here and I was given a new pair of eyeglasses. I’m grateful to the organisers.”

The Programme Coordinator for CAI4SR, Mrs Eni Ayeni, said the outreach was in commemoration of World Sight Day with the theme “Love Your Eyes”.
