The prosecutor, Innocent Owoola, informed the court that Sikiru could not be arraigned because he is currently receiving treatment in a police clinic.
He urged the court to remand Isiak on the basis that his alleged offences are not bailable and the issue of theft must be handled with all seriousness.
Isiak’s counsel, Sulaiman, prayed the court to discountenance the submission of the prosecutor, saying his client needs serious medical attention to fully recover from the wounds he suffered from members of the community.
Magistrate H.D Muhammed, however, admitted Isiak to bail in the sum of N200, 000 with two sureties, while the matter was adjourned to March 24.
