The House of Representatives Committee on Public Accounts yesterday summoned the Acting Accountant-General of the Federation, Okolieaboh Sylva, over the failure of his office to lay the 2020 audit reports of ministries, departments and agencies before the National Assembly.
The committee is investigating MDAs on queries against them by the Office of the Auditor-General for the Federation.

The chairman of the committee, Wole Oke, at the resumed hearing, said the delay was affecting the committee’s work and by extension the parliament.
