Reps seek more security in Sokoto communities

The House of Representatives has called on security agencies to beef up preventive measures against killings and kidnapping in communities of Isa/Sabon Birni federal constituency of Sokoto State.

This followed the adoption of a motion of urgent public importance by the member representing the constituency, Rep. Mohammed Sa’idu, at the plenary on Thursday.

The lawmaker, while presenting the motion, said bandits brutally killed 46 people and kidnapped 35 others in communities across his constituency and called for measures to address incessant attacks on his people which have led to the death of hundreds of people.
