The adjourned plenary is to enable lawmakers to attend a security retreat organised by the Special Security unit of the House.

Deputy Speaker Ahmed Idris Wase, who announced this after the close of Thursday’s plenary, said the retreat would commence on Monday 24th May 2021.
He said House would adjourn plenary for the week to allow members to attend the summit.
Wase said communication would be sent to members on the zonal public hearing on the Constitutional Review exercise in due course.
