Reps member Tarkighir fails to secure PDP ticket

A House of Representatives member, Dickson Tarkighir, has failed to secure the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ticket for Makurdi/Guma federal constituency.

Tarkighir lose out with 80 votes to one Bem Mzondu who is seeking the position for the first time scored 102 votes.

The returning officer, Bem Dzoho, announced the result.
