The House of Representatives Wednesday extended the implementation of the capital component of the 2021 budget from March 31 to May 31.
The extension was approved following the consideration and approval of the “Bill to amend the 2021 Appropriation Act.”

The bill was sponsored by the House Leader, Alhassan Ado Doguwa (Kano APC), who said the extension was to enable the implementation of ongoing projects for the overall benefit of Nigerians.

Daily Trust reports that the Senate had on Tuesday approved the same extension to May 31.
