The House of Representatives has commended President Buhari for accepting the resignation of service chiefs and the appointment of their replacements.
House Spokesperson Benjamin Kalu in a message on Tuesday also commended the former service chiefs for their service to the country.

He said that the development was an answer to the cries of Nigerians for a paradigm shift, hoping that it will bring improvement in the handling of the insecurity bedevilling the country.
Kalu said they deliberated and moved motions and passed resolutions for the replacement of the service chiefs and other measures for improvement.
“Though it appeared that the executive was not listening, but today they have shown Nigerians that they are listening.
“They have accepted the resignation of the service chiefs whom we appreciate and thank so well for wearing our national colours and badges and protecting our lives and properties the way they knew best,” he said.
