A member of the House of Representatives (APC, Bauchi), Ibrahim Makama, has cautioned members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bauchi State to stop attacking the leader of the party in the state, Mallam Adamu Adamu.
Some members of the party accused Adamu, who is the Minister of Education, of not doing enough for party members in the state.

Makama made the call when he interacted with journalists in Bauchi, saying by the convention of the party, the minister is the leader of the party.
He urged all to accord the minister the maximum respect for the party to succeed in the state.
“This is most unfortunate. The habit of blaming everyone else for our woes must stop immediately.
“We had a needless and senseless power tussle in the party even when everyone agreed that the minister is the leader, yet some supporters of the party are saying different things because of their ambition,” he said, adding that with the cooperation of all, APC will produce the next governor of Bauchi in 2023.
