Remove IPOB from terrorist organizations’ list, Igbo youth begs Buhari

The Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth, has asked President Muhammadu Buhari to grant Presidential amnesty to the Indigenes Peoples of Biafra, IPOB.

The youth further called that IPOB, which was recently proscribed, to be delisted by the federal government as terrorist organization.

The president general of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth council, Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro made this call in an interview with Daily Trust.

He argued that the pronouncement by the federal government on IPOB as a terrorist group was done in error and in anger.

“l want Mr. president to look inward, first, is to grant presidential amnesty and delist the IPOB from the gazetted list of terrorist organisation.

“The IPOB is never a terrorist organisation. l believe it was done in error and in anger,” he said.

Isiguzoro, while felicitating with President Buhari for his re-election in office, suggested an inclusive government.

He added that the approach would deepening the unity of the nation.
