Nigerian artist Rema has been announced to perform at this year’s BRIT Awards, the UK’s most prestigious music awards show. The organisers made the announcement on Thursday morning via their social media page.
The post reads, “Stay calm; @heisrema will be performing at the #BRITs 2024. Let’s gooooooo,”
Rema will become the next Nigerian musician to play at the Brits. In 2018, Burna Boy performed at the awards event.

Nigerian singers Burna Boy and Asake were nominated in the star-studded International Artist of the Year category, while Rema’s ‘Calm Down’ received a nomination in the widely sought International Song of the Year category at the 2024 Brit Awards.
