Borno State Governor, Babagana Umara Zulum, on Tuesday, directed the release of N55 million, 5,500 bags of rice and 5,500 gallons of oil to volunteers and civilian JTF, hunters and vigilantes.
Zulum gave the directive when he met leadership of the CJTF, hunters and vigilantes at the council chamber of the Government House in Maiduguri.

He said no amount of money or support could match the sacrifices made by the volunteers.
Governor Zulum also directed that orphans of deceased volunteers should be enrolled in schools.
