Senior military personnel, recently redeployed by authorities, on Thursday, resumed their new duty posts across various formations.
The officers were redeployed after the confirmation of the new service chiefs by the Senate in order to tackle ravaging insecurity headlong.

The new Commander, Army Headquarters Garrison, Maj.-Gen. Sanusi Dahiru, while resuming in his office, charged officers and soldiers to key into the vision of the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Ibrahim Attahiru, in defeating the Boko Haram terrorists, bandits and other criminals.
Dahiru charged them to bring up new ideas that would improve their individual performances instead of being routine in approach to issues.
Similarly, Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet took over from Air Vice Marshal Ibikunle Daramola as Director of Public Relations and Information.
