Detectives from Ijora-Badia Police Division at the weekend recovered a new tricycle that was snatched from its owner by a four-man robbery gang in the Ijora-Badia area of Lagos.
A source said the robbers trailed the tricycle owner from the point of purchase to where they snatched it.
He explained that, “They pulled out something like a gun and asked the owner to step out. He was dragged down when he refused.
The Lagos command’s spokesman, Benjamin Hundeyin, who confirmed the incident, said vigilant passersby noticed the awkwardness of the four men in the new tricycle.

He explained that, “The passersby contacted the police. The men, upon sighting a patrol team from Ijora- Badia Division, fled and abandoned the tricycle.”
