Real Madrid are willing to sell Marco Asensio to Liverpool, it has been revealed.
Sport says Real president Florentino Perez is prepared to sell Asensio to Liverpool so they can fund a deal for PSG star Neymar.
Asensio will be the player to make way and that Real would take 200m euros (£176m) from Reds.
Perez wants to use that cash to buy Neymar, who he knows will set the European champions back over 300m euros (£264m).
Asensio’s agent revealed in March that Real have rejected two offers of 150m euros (£132m) from Premier League clubs.
He was quizzed about his future after helping Spain scrape through into the last 16 with a 2-2 draw against Morocco.
Asensio said: “Liverpool? When the World Cup is over, we’ll talk about that sort of thing, now I’m focused on the national team."
