Spanish soccer giants Real Madrid have signed a new partnership with Zegna, designating the brand as the club’s official luxury travelwear partner.

Through the new agreement, the Italian luxury fashion house will outfit Real Madrid players when travelling to games, with a particular focus on Champions League matches. The deal also covers the club’s women’s team, as well as the basketball squads.

Los Blancos will debut the new Zegna-designed clothing in their opening Champions League away fixture, with Zegna set to reveal the Real Madrid collection at an event in the city on 30th September.

The deal will provide Zegna with valuable product placement opportunities, taking advantage of the Spanish soccer club’s global audience. Real Madrid has more than 288 million total social media followers and a star-studded squad of players with big audiences of their own.

Similarly, Eibar has agreed on a deal with Eibho that sees the local architecture firm become the Spanish soccer club’s shirt sponsor for the 2022/23 season.

Eibho’s branding will appear on the men’s team kits for the first time during the Basque club’s LaLiga Segunda fixture against Ponferradina tomorrow.

Eibar, who were relegated from the top flight last season, has been without a shirt sponsor since their deal with local petrol brand Avia ended at the conclusion of the 2020/21 campaign.
