That Patrick Wilmot’s imaginatively constructed dialectical manifestoes are supportive and needful strategies for Buhari’s change to manifest.

In his Daily Trust’s piece of Monday, June 5, 2017, titled: “The travails of Caesar’s Wife”, the erudite former ABU professor and international scholar, has not only dissected the problems undermining the kinetic motions of Presidential Buhari’s change thrusts. He has also comprehensively articulated some needful strategies, to defeat the wayfarers of corruption that have penetrated Nigeria’s value system and dominated the people’s psyche with their willful doctrines of infantile adoration of voluptuous materialism.

For the avoidance of doubt, this ‘Wilmotian’ submission is but an additional echo to some established voices of reason by several Nigerians. Such Nigerians as Dr. Tonnie Iredia, NTA’s former DG and anchorman of its long rested (or is it arrested) vintage investigative program, Point Blank and the Daily Trust’s untiring, never-say-die columnist, Sonala Olumhense, whose column is always awash with well advertised opinions, illustrated templates and categorical agenda.

An agenda to mitigate the lethargic tempo and antagonistic promptings militating against a peoples’ defined change project, as the article of faith for Presidential Buhari’s campaign pledge, which seemed to have been sabotaged and obviated by the PDP invaders, in APC dubious alliance.

The time has come for a robust, rich and practically operational midterm review, with a rich and structurally designed social security schemes, on agricultural and rural transformation agenda, predicted on youth empowerment across the board. This is our clarion calls, to all the stakeholders, because President Buhari’s success is only achievable, if all stakeholders collectively display their commitments, as a stake, to bargain for a national success.
