According to him, 70,000 people would be empowered, over a period of one year, with free training in technology and digital education comprising: Digital Science, Digital Marketing and Web Development amongst others.

Other activities lined up for the 70th anniversary convention include the Jubilee Prayer Walk which will take place around the world where RCCG has presence on the 31st of July 2022.

The walk, he said, would include prayers for the success of the convention, for the church, and for the peace of the entire world.

Obayemi described the 70th anniversary themed ‘Perfect Jubiliee’, as unique and important to RCCG  as it symbolizes a major landmark in her ‘epochal and divinely-orchestrated history’.

He stated that for the RCCG, the  Jubilee is a season where God liberates the nation from the many challenges the nation is currently facing, adding that the church is confident that Nigeria will become the delight of all nations.

“As a global church, we affirm our commitment to global peace and the prosperity of nations, families and individuals. Our belief is that this year of Jubilee will mark a total turn around for the world economically and in many other ramifications. God will be asserting His authority as the sovereign owner and ruler of all nations,” he added.

Though location for accommodation and number of people expecting were not disclosed, Assistant Continental Overseer, Margret Daramola, stated that over the years the convention had seen millions of people in attendance and the church would provide free feeding and accommodation for all who wished to attend the convention for the 70th anniversary.
