Razes 11 shops in Kano market

An early morning fire burnt down not less than 11 shops on Wednesday in a market in Fagge Local Government Area of Kano State.

City & Crime learnt that the affected shops were uncompleted and were mostly used for selling herbs.

Spokesman of the fire service in Kano, Saminu Yusuf Abdullahi, said the fire crew arrived the scene of the incident and rescued the remaining shops and prevented the fire from spreading to the Fagge LGA secretariat.
