Raven Bank has received the “2022 Neobank of the Year” award at the Business And Other Financial Institutions (BAFI) Awards.
In a statement, the bank disclosed that BAFI Awards was a yearly recognition of the achievements of key figures (businesses and individuals) across several categories in the financial industry, including Fintech, banking, insurance, investments, pension funds and other financial services.
Raven’s CFO, Chidinma Onukogu, thanked the organisers of the event, the management and staff of Raven Bank as well as the bank’s 450,000 customers across Africa who have trusted the bank to provide fast and reliable banking for them.
CEO of Raven Bank, Uchenna Nnodim, added that the award was a recognition of the bank’s commitment to building a financial ecosystem where Africans can access fast and convenient financial services.
“Raven is a community-focused bank, so this award is mostly going to fuel our continued effort to build more tools, innovate new solutions and keep thinking about the people whilst we’re building,” Nnodim said.
