Salman Khan evaded the media at Mumbai’s international airport and refused to answer questions put forth by the journalists present there. The Bollywood superstar apparently is in no mood to apologise for his ‘raped woman’ comment that stirred massive controversy and condemnation.
A video posted by ANI clearly shows that Khan chose to remain tight-lipped when he was asked if he would apologise for his ‘raped woman’ simile that he used vis-à-vis his physically exhausting experience for shooting wrestling scenes in ‘Sultan.’
Salman seems to have decided to remain silent about this issue even after his father Salim decided to speak about it and apologise on his behalf.
Salman Khan’s remarks made mockery of rape victims, their families: Nirbhaya’s mother Senior Khan tweeted, “Undoubtedly what Salman said is wrong, the simili, example and the context. The intention was not wrong.”
