The Police spokesman, Abimbola Oyeyemi, in a statement on Friday in Abeokuta, said the complainant had told the police that she was informed by one of the students in the Senior Secondary 3 of the school that the suspect had been raping her repeatedly since the resumption of the school in preparation for the WAEC examination.
According to the police, the proprietress stated further that the teacher intimidated the victim by telling her that she will not pass the WAEC examinations if she failed to allow him have sex with her.
The Police said the randy teacher later had his way and always called the victim “out of the dormitory in the night and taking her to a classroom where he used to have carnal knowledge of her.”
“When the victim can no longer bear the sexual assault of the randy teacher, she decided to inform the proprietress,” the statement said.
Oyeyemi said following receipt of the report, the DPO Sango division, Csp Godwin Idehai, detailed his detectives to the scene where the suspect was promptly arrested.
He hinted that the suspect “has since then made a confessional statement admitting the commission of the crime.”
