The chairman, Muslim Media Practitioners of Nigeria, MMPN, Oyo State Chapter, Alhaji Ridwan Fasasi, has urged Muslims to fear Allah.

Fasasi, in a statement, said Muslims should endeavour to ensure that their actions and inactions during Ramadan follow the dictates of Allah.

He reminded them of the importance of feeding the poor, helping the needy, recitation of Quran, attending Islamic lectures, being among the righteous ones and avoiding wrong acts.

He enjoined Islamic clerics handling different lectures and explanation of the Holy Quran during the month, to lay emphasis on issues of patriotism, peaceful co-existence, and love for one another.

He said the holy month should also be dedicated for prayers for the country to surmount the current security challenges.
