The Executive Secretary Plateau State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Ustaz Auwal Abdullahi, has tasked members of the Nigerian Aid Group of Jama’atu Nasril Islam (JNI-Aid Group) to perform humanitarian work devoid of religious sentiments.
He gave the advice at the opening of the 2022 pre-Ramadan seminar themed, “Using Ramadan to Enhance Good Healthy Habit,” organised by the JNI Aid Group, held at the board room of Jos Central Mosque.

He said as first-aid workers, it was always expected of them to use their energy and resources for the sake of Allah rather than for the praise of men.
“I urge you to always purify your work, purify your intention to work and help people for the sake of Allah,” he urged.
On his part, the Executive Chairman of Jos-North Local Government Council, Shehu Bala Usman, also harped on the need to render first aid based on compassion.
