The Jigawa State Government has approved the procurement of 27,000 bags of rice and 10,800 cartons of spaghetti for distribution to residents for Ramadan.
The Commissioner for Information, Youths, Sports and Culture, Alhaji Sagir Musa, who disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday, said the procurement was approved by the State Executive Council (SEC) during its meeting on Monday.
He said, “The SEC approved a memorandum presented by the Ministry of Special Duties for the award of a contract for the procurement of grains as palliative support for residents for the 1445AH/2024 Ramadan season.
