The National Chairman, Council of Ulama, Jama’atu Izalatil Bid’ah Wa’ikamatis Sunnah (JIBWIS), Sheikh Sani Yahaya Jingir, has admonished Muslims to uphold truth and righteousness in whatever they do.
He gave the admonition on Sunday at the closing of the 11th Annual Ramadan lectures with the theme, “Our Identity is the Secret of our Existence,” organised by JIBWIS Youth, Islamic Propagation Committee at the Yantaya Mosque, Jos.

The cleric, who was represented by Sheikh Aliyu Sange, said individuals must rise against ill motives and uphold the fear of Allah in their daily activities.
The guest speaker, Sheikh Hassan Dikko, admonished people to always guard their utterances against backbiting, spreading hatred and bad thoughts that could negatively impact relationships.
