Sheikh Jingir made the admonishment at the formal opening of this year’s annual Tafsir, held at Layin Zana Mosque, in Jos.
He said: “Allah is most compassionate, that He has enriched our traders and so it is expected that they are also compassionate to the people. The Almighty Allah will reward those who are compassionate to others.”
Sheikh Jingir urged Muslims to support their children to study medicine and other medical-related courses, saying such courses were relevant to humanity.
“Today JIBWIS has more than 700 trained medical doctors. We intend to have a special team of health experts.’’
Sheikh Jingir further admonished the media practitioners to always be fair to all in the discharge of their duties.
“Journalists should be wary not to allow themselves to be used to scare people.”
