An Iveco truck in a speeding competition on Lagos – Abeokuta expressway, on Monday, rammed into a shop and a roadside building, killing a woman at Obada – Oko axis of the highway in Ogun State.
Our correspondent gathered that one of the trucks, while competing with another truck on a lane, drove recklessly, lost control of the wheels and rammed into the building.

The incident occurred at about 8:25 am at Obada – Oko, inbound Abeokuta, in Ewekoro Local Government Area of the state.
It was gathered that the driver of the truck marked – KSF 209 XY – ran away to avoid the wrath of the mob.
The Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency (TRACE), Babatunde Akinbiyi, confirmed the incident to newsmen on Monday in Abeokuta.
Akinbiyi said relatives of the victim had already retrieved the corpse for burial.
