Purple, the developers of Purple Mall Maryland have commenced construction of the PurpleLekki, an 8 floor and a full blend mix-use development, targeting the upper middle class market.
Speaking to Daily Trust at the ground breaking event, the Chief Executive officer and Co-Founder of Purple, Olayide Agboola said: “Purple-Lekki is seating on 10,000 square metres, which is hectare and we have leased 65 percent of space already.
“We have Anchors from Market square, Genesis Cinemas, Harmony, kasper all signed up. We have an existing relationship with workstation. We have discussion ongoing with Lagos co-work, the choice, Eye contact.”
“We are looking at 18 months for completion which should be by Q4 2021 and if we miss it, then Q1, 2022. It is financed by a mixture of equity, sales funding and debt.” He said Purple is creating affordable lifestyle experiences for its consumers through principal investments in superior mixed-use facilities and services.
