The head media and publicity, Prince Abubakar Audu campaign organization, Dr Tom Ohikere has challenged the ruling Peoples Democratic party (PDP) in Kogi State to publish their facts on the bailout rather than resulting to attack and shadow chasing.
Dr Ohikere reacting to a statement credited to the Chief communication manager of Wada Campaign organization Phrank Shaibu on the N50billion bailout, allegedly applied for, by the State,  rather than respond to issues raised by the National publicity secretary of the All Progressive Congress (APC), and current minister of information, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, the campaign spokesman of Captain Wada , resorted to rabble-rousing.
In a statement in Lokoja , Ohikere challenged the PDP governor to publish all the facts relating to the bailout if indeed he applied as claimed.
The APC campaign spokesperson, insisted that the state governor never really applied for the bailout, wondering why it has become difficult for the governor to show any proof to that effect.
He recalled that at some point, the State deputy governor, Yomi Awoniyi, told the people of the state that what the governor applied for was N 10billion.
This,  he said, clearly indicate that even within the government, there is no sincerity or transparency, adding that the matter has reached a safe conclusion that at no time was the issue brought before the State House of Assembly, and therefore, the governor cannot claim to have met all requirements for the bailout.
He also drew attention to the reason given by the governor in Yagba-East LGA while on campaign tour to the area that delay in the release of the inability of some teachers and Local government workers to submit their BVN and other bank details.
According to Ohikere, the PDP led government is being economical with the truth, noting that instead of facing reality, it has resorted to blame game.
Ohikere challenged the PDP led government to tell the world what it had been doing with what accrued to the Local Government Councils as allocations since 2011, saying that if full salaries had not been paid to the council workers and teachers, then the governor has no excuses for his failures.
He advised Mr Shaibu to stop sounding like a broken record and address issues being raised, reminding him that the Kogi electorate are getting wiser by the day” Gone are the days when a candidate or party will procure the services of smooth talker to railroad the electorate into voting for such a candidate.”, Ohikere maintained.
He also faulted the nature of the campaign of Capt Idris Wada, saying that it is an acceptance of failure to deliver on his earlier campaign promises.
In a statement, Ohikere said as a sitting governor, if Captain Wada had performed well, he should be relying on his achievements rather than engaging in desperate campaign to hoodwink the electorate.
He remarked that the governor has in the past three and a half years, betrayed the confidence reposed in him by the Kogi electorate , noting that it is clear from the body language of the electorate that the governor has been rejected.
“It is regrettable that what we keep hearing the governor say is that, if elected, he would do this or that, the world expect him to be telling Kogians what he has done after almost four years in office”, Ohikere observed.
He noted that what the All Progressive Congress (APC) candidate, Prince Abubakar Audu achieved while he was governor is more than what the PDP has achieved in almost 13years in the saddle.
According to him, what the Wada led government has to show for the almost 4years it has been in office is months of unpaid salaries to teachers and local government workers, coupled with decaying infrastructure.
He assured that if elected, Prince Audu would turn around the fortune of the state and give the people a reason to smile again.
