A press statement by the Assistant Director (Media Relations) in Kifasi’s office, Mohammed Manga, said the HOS gave the advice over the weekend during his familiarisation tour of the institute in Abuja.
He quoted Kifasi as saying that since his assumption of office, PSIN and the Administrative Staff College of Nigeria (ASCON) have been important drivers in his focus in the area of capacity building for the entire federal civil service.
He reiterated his priority in office which he said is to ensure that the civil service regains its lost glory, “which can only be achieved through leadership succession planning and capacity building of the entire workforce.”
While expressing satisfaction with the facilities and calibre of resource persons at the institute, he urged civil servants to ensure they develop themselves particularly in the area of Information Communication Technology so as to compete globally.
