The Police Service Commission (PSC) says it will continue to insist on merit, fairness and respect for the Federal Character Principle in all recruitments into the Nigeria Police Force.

This followed the completion of a computer-based test overseen by the West African Examination Council conducted for the police constabulary applicants nationwide.

The exercise, held on Friday and Saturday, is one of the requirements for the completion of the 2020 recruitment.

Chairman, PSC, Musiliu Smith, according to a statement yesterday by the spokesman of PSC, Ikechukwu Ani, said the commission would also continue to uphold the sanctity of the exercise.
