Prudential Sports Limited, a leading sports promoter in Gombe State, has launched the Man of the Match awards to motivate players of Gombe United and Doma United to put in their best in the ongoing Nigerian National League.
In a statement, the Chief Executive Officer of Prudential Sports Limited, Malam Farouk Yarma, said the initiative was aimed at supporting both teams in their quest to return to the elite league.
“We have assembled a panel of technical experts who will evaluate players’ performances and contributions during each match, adhering to a well-defined set of criteria.
“We believe this recognition will not only serve as a source of motivation for the players but also enhance the overall matchday experience for both teams and their supporters, as well as to nurture the talents of upcoming players,” he said.
