Sule Bello, PRP factional national leader, is dead

The national factional leader of the People’s Redemption Party (PRP), Professor Sule Bello, is dead.

He died on Sunday in Zaria, Kaduna State, at the age of 73 after a protracted illness.

A source close to the family confirmed his death to Daily Trust, adding that his funeral will take place at his residence of Maiduguri Road, Hotoro GRA, Kano.

Until his death, Professor Bello, a factional leader of the PRP, lectured at the Department of History of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria.

Twenty-four hours before his death, the late Professor was to deliver a lecture at Nigeria’s independence anniversary organised by a youths group in Kano but had to be represented by someone due to his ill condition.
