The Jigawa state chapter of People’s Redemption Party (PRP), has adopted President Muhammadu Buhari as its presidential candidate in the forthcoming general elections.
The PRP governorship candidate in the state, Ahmed Kaugama, made the disclosure in Dutse, saying his party was at home with the policies of President Buhari hence, his adoption by his party.
Though he said his party has no presidential candidate, he called on his party faithful to cast their votes for the president at the general election.
Kaugama, who was represented by his running mate, Shamsuddeen Aujara, said his party’s support was only for the president but at state level, his party was firm and fully on ground in the governorship race.
