The youths from Ajikobi Ward took to the streets in large numbers starting from Ita-Merin Area, en route Omoda to the party secretariat at Agbooba before moving to Aleniboro and Gaa-Aremu to register their displeasure to some party stakeholders.

Speaking with journalists during the protest, Alhaji Saka Salman condemned in totality the process of zoning, describing it as unfair, unjust and unacceptable to the entire youths in Ajikobi ward.

Saka however called on the leader of the party, former Senate president, Dr Bukola Saraki, to choose a grassroots mobiliser, who has contributed immensely not only to his ward but also to the party at large.

Meanwhile, Saraki during an interactive session with aspirants for the House of Representatives and House of Assembly in Kwara State held in Ilorin, warned again imposition.

According to him, the party will not accept “imposition of candidates, autocratic process and ‘jamba’ zoning.”
