A property firm, Shelta, has unveiled its Rent Payer 2.0 app created to help solve rent issues for landlords and tenants in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
Speaking over the weekend in Abuja during a press briefing, the Chief Executive Officer of the firm, Mr Austin Igwe, said it unveiled the app last year to help solve financial issues between landlord and tenants within the property the firm handled through technology.
According to him, tenants not within property handled by the firm also demanded such technological financial solutions to help them solve rent issues with their landlords, hence the need to upgrade the app to accommodate such tenants.
“Shelta launched ‘The Rent Payer’ service in 2021 to solve the prevailing rent issues in Nigeria with the rent financing solution technologically driven. This solution was developed at the time to only provide cover for tenants residing in property managed by Shelta.”
“With the huge demand for rent financing and to accommodate all tenants that meet the minimum application requirements, Shelta unveils The Rent Payer 2.0 in commemoration of its one-year anniversary.
“This service is now open to everyone, not only limited to the property managed by Shelta,” he said.
