The emergence of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State as the chairman of the Nigeria Governors Forum (NGF) has been attributed to his progressive leadership in the state.
APC chieftain, Alhaji Abdulrauf Baba AbdulRazaq, said this in Ilọrin, the Kwara State capital, while speaking with some newsmen.
He said, “AbdulRazaq’s hard-working spirit, tenaciousness and dedication to the progress of the state has earned him many accolades and honours that have culminated in his emergence as the NGF chairman.”
He said in the last four years, Governor AbdulRazaq has shown that he is a better manager of resources which have reverberated across the country.

He further urged the governor to sustain his legacies which included prompt payment of salaries for civil servants and traditional rulers.
AbdulRazaq’s emergence was announced in a communique signed by the former chairman, Alhaji Aminu Waziri Tambuwal of Sokoto State, at the end of the 7th emergency meeting of the state governors in Abuja.
