The Northeast Research Development and Consultative Forum (NRDCF) Thursday charged northern leaders to suggest ways of tackling the security challenges in the country to it to carry out research on it.
NRDCF President Abubakar Kagu, at a press briefing in Abuja, asked governors, traditional rulers, clerics and other stakeholders from the northeast, in particular, to proffer solutions to the Boko Haram insurgency.

Kagu also called on the National Assembly and relevant authorities to increase the budget allocation to the region.
According to him, the research forum, which included community leaders and scholars abroad, would come up with verifiable data to support any strategy.
