Primary Election: National Assembly shifts resumption of plenary

The National Assembly has postponed the resumption of plenary at both chambers of the parliament to June 14.

The postponement was due to the presidential primary election and convention of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

The parliament had earlier fixed the resumption of plenary for June 7 but the delay by the ruling party in concluding its primary election had necessitated the postponement.

All inconveniences are regretted.”

The APC will hold its convention on Tuesday 7th June 2022 in Abuja.
