President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived Plateau State on a two-day working visit.
The President’s plane touched down at the Yakubu Gowon airport, in Heipang at about 11:54am and was received by Governor Simon Bako Lalong; former Governors of the State, Sen. Joshua Dariye and Jonah Jang; Minister of Sports and Youth Development, Solomon Dalung and former deputy governor of the state, Dame Pauline Tallen as well as other dignitaries.
President Buhari is expected to commission completed road projects such as the Mararaban Jama’a- Secretariat junction-British America junction road, Miango-Wild Life Park-Rafiki junction, Domkat Bali/Tudun Wada/old airport roundabout township roads and others.
He is also expected to launch the Plateau State Road Map to peace; a five-year strategic plan for peace in the state and hold a town hall meeting at the government house banquet hall at Little Rayfield.
