Nataro has advised the presidency to focus more on its constitutional responsibilities to the nation.
Nataro, in a press statement, said the current situation does not portend good omen for the country’s corporate existence and economic viability.
According to him: “It is time for our President to focus on issues currently affecting this country. He must tackle corruption and urgently curb the insecurity situation in the country, particularly, the insurgency that has almost halt the economy and livelihood of people in the North-East”.
He said it is unfortunate that we have  leaders  who appear to be losing focus because of 2015 elections.
“Using religion and ethnicity to divide the people of this country rather than tackling allegations of corruption in NNPC,  unnecessary spending by Sure-P,   Defence and  the abuse of human rights  will not take this nation anywhere,” he said.
He warned that if the 2015 elections must be credible, government must allow the Independent National Electoral Commission ( INEC) to conduct it without interference.
“I also think INEC must be ready to do justice to all the parties and candidates in the elections if we must move away from our problems,” he said.
