Presidency: Boko Haram will never win

President Muhammadu Buhari has described the Boko Haram insurgents as enemies of humanity, saying they will never win.
The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu, in his twitter handle yesterday, quoted Buhari as saying this in a reaction to Tuesday night’s terrorist attack on Yola, Adamawa State.
The presidential spokesman also quoted President Buhari as describing the attack as callous.
The president, according to Shehu, also expressed optimism that with the cooperation of all Nigerians, the nation would get rid of terrorism.
Meanwhile, the Nigeria army yesterday said troops of 101 Task Force Battalion, 7 Division Garrison, along Lagos Street, Maiduguri, Borno State have arrested another wanted Boko Haram terrorist’s leader.
Army spokesman, Colonel Sani Usman said the suspect who gave his name as Abubakar Sadiq, works as night watchman to one Muhammad Daggash, noting that a closer look at him shows that he was suspect number 28 among suspected Boko Haram terrorists declared wanted last month.
