The Bauchi State Government has asked that prayers be held in mosques and churches across the state for the quick recovery of President Muhammadu Buhari.

A statement issued yesterday by the Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Bello Shehu Illelah, said Governor Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar asked all emir’s to make all Jumu’at mosques and churches in their domains to hold the prayers on Friday, February 17th and Sunday, February 19th respectively.

“In the same vein, the special prayers should include the need for continued peace and harmony among the people of the state and the country and for God to bless the state and the country with abundant resources,” the statement said.
