POS operator remanded over cheating employer

A Kubwa area court on Wednesday ordered that Joseph Njoku, a Point of Sale (POS) operator, be remanded in police custody for cheating his employer, Kolawale Salimat, of N700,000.

Earlier, the police charged the defendant with joint acts of criminal breach of trust, cheating and forgery.

The Judge, Muhammad Adamu, after ordering the remand of the suspect, adjourned the case to January 21.
