POS operator gunned down in Ekiti

A Point of Sales (POS) operator, popularly known as Alfa, has been shot dead in Ado-Ekiti, capital of Ekiti State.

The development comes 48 hours after a ticketing officer with Okada riders was killed in broad daylight.

The POS operator was killed at his located adjacent to the gate of the Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital (EKSUTH).

The gunmen, who were on a motorbike, shot Alfa and made away with his money and other valuables.

A customer who was transacting with him when the incident happened was said to have also sustained injury.

Alfa, who was well known in the area, usually displayed bread on his vehicle. His corpse has been deposited at EKSUTH morgue.
