Famous Hausa singer, Dauda Kahutu Rarara, has revealed to the public the rationale behind the creation of the 13-13 entertainment group that comprises Kannywood singers and actors across the nation.
Speaking during the distribution of cash and foodstuffs received from President Muhammadu Buhari to members in Kano, Rarara stated that the group isn’t a political formation but one for the upliftment of the Hausa entertainment industry to the highest development level for positive sustainability of the industry.

He added that the main purpose of the group is to foster unity among the industry as well as to ensure effective socio-cultural development in the nation.
Rarara further said that while the 13-13 group is not a political formation, they will work with any political movement that is willing to assist in the development of the Kannywood filmmaking industry in particular and the nation in general.
The singer is the chairman of the 13-13 group that has a large number of members across the northern states. So far, the group has been creating a lot of attention in the entertainment sector especially in the northern part of the country as it has been rendering a series of humanitarian activities in various sectors of the nation’s social commitment.
