Popular Yoruba veteran actor, Chief Adedeji Aderemi, popularly known as Olofa Ina is dead.
Aderemi, who died at 73, had acted in a number of movies and was highly respected in the film industry.
The news of his death was announced by a fellow actor, Saidi Balogun, via his Instagram handle (@SaidiBalogun), Thursday night.
He posted Olofa Ina’s picture alongside a caption “Goodnight legend Chief Deji Akinremi (Olofa Ina) RIP.”
The cause of his death could not be immediately ascertained.
Olofa Ina was born on May 15, 1950 and started professional acting in 1980 years after forming his theatre group.
